Past:
In 1957 after the launch of Sputnik 1 from Soviet Russia, President Eisenhower wanted to expand the internet to help the United States catch up in the space race. In 1969 many universities including Stanford, UCSB and UCLA helped in doing this. From being just the government using it in 1969 to in 1983 over 70 sites were on the internet. Tim Berners-Lee brought the World wide web to life in 1990 with the first html code.
Present:
Today you can access the internet in a matter of seconds from almost anywhere in the world. There is also many different devices that you can access the internet from such as cell phones, computers, and other electronic devices. So many improvements have been made since the 80s and 90s and even just a few years ago. The internet has changed so much that is almost not even the same thing that started a long time ago.
Future:
The future of the internet could be a little troublesome. Some say the internet is over used or the right to use the internet is abused by some people. At times the internet can feel like a safe place to save something where it can't be stolen but at other times it feels like it's a completely unsafe place where nothing or no one on the internet can be trusted. But the amount of internet users goes up daily so you could say the future could be better than some suspect.

good intentiong and content but it's a little simple. You added more about how it is used than what its used for and what Berners-Lee did to create the WWW
